My EUMAS story which might be of interest to you and some suggestions to youngsters applying for EUMAS
I was specialized in mechanical engineering at G.Pulla Reddy Engineering college Kurnool ,Andhra Pradesh .With an aggregate percentage of 70 in bachelors and 90 in my junior college and 80 in tenth class I started my journey for the pursuit of masters in my third year of bachelors education and it was then I started to execute my check list which I prepared for getting in to masters .Initially I had to figure out why had to go for a master degree and this eventually helped me out in writing my statement of purpose(SOP) one year later when I was applying for EUMAS .Then I started to introspect myself to find out which subject to choose and this was done taking into consideration my branch of specialization in bachelors, my passions and finally the career prospects . So after going through this process I found out Aeronautical Engineering is the field that I have to get into and in fact I feel now that this might be the best decisions ever taken in my life .The next stage was to figure out which country to go for my masters in the world and even this was to be done taking into consideration my chosen field of specialization (aeronautical engineering) and scholarships since I hail from a middle class family. But I was confined with only USA then since that was the only destinations in the world I used to hear from my friends at college who were planning for masters like me and on moving a bit further I was in my final year of my bachelors and I found out USA is not a place where I can get through taking into factors like GRE for which I had to invest lot of time and in case it does not work out I had to pay so much to get to USA which is not possible in my case so I dropped out the option of USA but I did not give up and started to search for other destinations in world which were offering scholarships and I finally found that Europe is a good destination satisfying my requirements and I was fortunate enough to find EUMAS (European Masters in Aeronautical and space Engineering) and immediately I downloaded the application for EUMAS which was free of cost available from the EUMAS website and which on the other hand would have been Rs8000 in case applying for a USA university. Then I started to think of what I can add to my curriculum vitae other than marks so that it catches the interest of selection committee of EUMAS in short listing my application for EUAMAS-07 and I was fortunate enough that I already participated in 3 national level technical symposiums and trained in few softwares like Autocad and CATIA in a certified institute and did my summer project at Research Center Imarat(An ally of DRDO) which eventually improved my chances of getting into EUMAS and so with this qualification I applied for EUMAS and me being a fresher I taught my chances of getting into EUMAS are grim but this no way stopped me from applying.
Finally I applied for EUMAS and as expected I was not accepted for EUMAS initially so I started looking for some software jobs which is one of the sources of livelihood for engineers in India and I finally found one and without any hesitation I joined the company since that was the only option left for me then and as a formality of bond I had to pay some money initially to the company and which eventually went into the deep pockets of the software company since I had to quit the company after 2 months when I got a mail from EUMAS again stating that I am shortlisted for the course. You may wonder why I am mentioning about this here but the reason is that initially I got a mail from EUMAS authorities stating that I am not shortlisted for the course so I eventually joined the company thinking that I am rejected for the course but it was only when I got a second mail from EUMAS stating that I was accepted for the course I knew that there was something called waiting list and my application was put on that category so owing to this communication gap between EUMAS and me I ended up paying huge sum of money to my software company so I request the students who got a mail from EUMAS initially about the result to make sure from the authorities if they are under rejected list, waiting list(ask for waiting list number) or accepted list.

I hope my story of EUMAS above have given you some suggestions about improving your prospects of getting into EUMAS but anyways
Some tips for students who are planning to apply for EUMAS
1)Try doing some innovative projects in B-Tech and apply for patents and the more is the number of patents the more is the probability of your application being shortlisted
2)Try publishing a number of articles in technical journals
3)Try inducting some aeronautical related hobbies like aeromodeling but make sure u quantify it by participating in aeromodeling competitions and winning some prizes
4)Try doing a project in DRDO,HAL or any other industry related to aeronautical which adds value to your resume as a fresher. If possible try for internships in Europe during your final year.
5) Participate in many national level technical symposiums and conferences but make sure u have won few prizes in those symposiums
